Galerie Mathias Güntner (formerly: artfinder Galerie) was founded in 2001 as a project space of the Falckenberg Collection (now: Deichtorhallen Hamburg / Falckenberg Collection). In 2004 the gallery moved to Admiralty Street as a commercial gallery.

The gallery represents international, both aspiring and established artists. Initially focused on (post) minimalist tendencies and photography, the program has expanded to include concept-based and space-based approaches. The gallery Mathias Güntner shows regular installations and supports projects in public space (most recently 2017 Boran Burchhardt, Gilding Veddel). At the same time we cooperate with other guest artists and galleries (“Guest Performance” series). Since 2012 the Gallery is the publisher of the publication series “Let’s talk about”, which is published by textem-Verlag.
