The gallery was first founded in the end of 1999, representing young, emerging artists.
Karin Guenther, who holds a master degree in art history and worked as a freelance curator for different institutions, has accompanied most of her artist’s careers from their very beginning. Over time the younger artists were complemented by some more established positions, influential for this younger generation. The programme is focusing on conceptually working artists, who are taking into account the material qualities of art’s traditional media, bridging
the historical leap between the rise of conceptualism and its actualizations.
Ever since Karin Guenther and has been working successfully with a steady group of artists. The gallery has taken part at Frieze London, Frieze New York, Art Basel, Art Basel Miami, Liste Basel.
