UNA is an international practice operating within the field of architecture, urbanism, art and academia.
Based in Hamburg, UNA architecture office focusses on cultural projects. Working at different scales, the projects range from publications to exhibition designs, curatorial projects to temporary pavilions, buildings and urban interventions. Recent work includes the design of an Art Foundation within the complex of a Palladian villa in Italy; the cultural masterplan and building proposal for a museum extension of the Kunsthalle Bielefeld in Germany; the exhibition design of “Partners in Design. Alfred Barr and Philip Johnson”; and the installation of a Nomadic Bookstore for Lars Müller Publishers at the Salone del Mobile in Milan – developed as part of a AA Diploma ‘AA MuseumLab’ unit lead by Giulia Foscari.
